Barreras (means barriers in English)

It is also Dr. Barreras' last name, and in her life, she has faced many challenges but also a lot of successes. She shares that it has been love, support, resources, and mentorship that have allowed her to thrive. 

Dr. Barreras understands the importance of having basic needs met to be able to thrive, and although not much, she has created this opportunity for anyone to donate to one of our communities' most in need here in the greater Los Angeles area: transgender people.
